Paul and I have settled into a disturbing late night routine in the boudoir. We fall into bed, exhausted from all things MOVING related. Then, one of us flips around in the bed and we each rub the other’s feet, while making noises that sound embarrassingly sexual in nature. To hell with sex, man. Mutual foot rubbing is where it’s at.

Why am I so tired? Why are my eyeballs on fire? Oh yeah, I stayed up until 1:30 playing The Sims. D’oh! I go months and months without playing, and then I end up playing it every night for a week until I’m burned out on it again. Must go to bed earlier tonight!! I have to get up early tomorrow for the kids’ speech therapy.
Yesterday, we alllll went shopping at Wal-Mart. Paul and Kayley and I and all the babies. And we ate at McDonald’s. It was cold and windy and rainy and the kids were going crazy in the house, so we got some lunch (bleck) and wandered around WM for a couple of hours. I got a couple of pretty geraniums for the pots on my porch, along with a few other flowers too. I’m going to try to get my pots cleaned up and my stuff planted while the kids nap today. Yesterday, NOBODY got a nap, since we were out shopping. Well, let me tell ya – there were a few moments in the store when everyone was so grouchy and whiny, I was regretting not staying home! Most of the time, though, they were really good. The worst part was waiting for Paul to buy an oil filter and some oil so he can do an oil change in my van today. How much time does one person need to spend standing in the damned motor oil aisle??? I found the 10w20 in about two seconds. Ha! I swear, I turn into one of the kids as soon as we wander into hardware and paint and plumbing shit and auto parts. I’m like, “Come ON already! Can’t we go look at other stuff??” It’s SO boring!!
It feels like it’s going to be another lazy day here, with the clouds and the drizzle and all that. But I can’t sit around in my jamas all day – we have all kinds of stuff to do. Tomorrow’s going to be wasted because I’m going to a playdate and then going to the twin club meeting at night – so I need to get all the laundry and cleaning and stuff I usually do on Mondays done TODAY. Rereading this paragraph for some motivation! You can do it, Laura! Just get off your ass!
