Staying in the Lines 4/366

My Lexi-bug. She’s not as much of a perfectionist as her twin sister Nikki, but she does take her time with her work, and it shows – she colors beautifully and has the best handwriting out of all five of my children. If only I could get her to apply that same time and effort when it comes to cleaning her room! Can’t win ‘em all, I guess.

Staying in the Lines

Today was a gorgeous day in Denver, and tomorrow is supposed to be even better. Thankfully, we didn’t spend the whole day inside, coloring. The girls had a whole elaborate thing going on in the backyard, complete with bandana masks and umbrellas. I don’t interfere, I just make snacks and yell at them when they climb too high. It’s nice that we’re having some fabulous weather while the kids are tracked off. Usually, we sit here cooped up, driving one another insane, because it’s cold as balls outside.

Tomorrow, I’m hoping to try out an awesome looking new park I drove past the other day. I’m not even sure if it’s open yet, but I sure hope it is. We haven’t gotten out too much, aside from our all-day affair at Chuck E. Cheese’s the other day. I’m sure the kids will be thrilled to run around in the sunshine!
