It’s hard to be down when your peanut butter is smiling at you.

Last week, I was having kind of a downer of a day, until I opened up a brand new jar of peanut butter and found this:

Well, I can’t argue with that. The universe obviously is giving me a sign that I need to buck up and be happy. Paul’s trying to convince me that it’s supposed to be that way, since it’s generic peanut butter from Walmart. Y’know, they have that whole smiley face logo and all. Naturally they’d put it in their peanut butter.

Wild! Only one way to test Paul’s theory, of course. :-)

Very cool! I will have to buy some now!

That’s really cool :-) I think it would make my day.

Aw, that’s so cute! Fun way to start the day :) I think I’ll buy their PB next time to see if it’s always like that or if you were just lucky!

Tell him that it is fate because Wal Mart can’t use that smiley face anymore. That’s why he disappeared so he wouldn’t be on their peanut butter unless they wanna pay dearly! It REALLY was the universe saying SMILE! Hehe.

I’m sorry, but it’s not fate. The same thing just happened to my husband this morning. I had to google to see if anybody else had this surprise. I don’t think this smiley face is the same thing as the smiley logo. I didn’t even know the smiley logo was gone. ????? Is it really??? Anybody know why??? What a neat thing for Walmart to think up. Whoever thought of it… Give them a raise!! :)

    OMG, Kathy, really??

I just yesterday opened a new jar of this same peanut butter, but no smiley face.

Hmmmmm… Maybe they only did certain batches. I live in Superior, WI. May I ask where you live? I am just wondering if this is happening all over, or just in one area. I have found a couple of other people commenting on the smiley peanut butter so they had to have done more than two. I just think it’s odd how people aren’t talking more about this. Maybe they only did just a small number of them to see what people what do?? IDK I just know that my husband was at work and said he opened a jar of peanut butter and showed me the pic on his cell phone. I thought we won something. I tried to google walmart smile or smiley peanut butter and I only got a couple of hits. Weird. I have to go buy my own now and see if I get lucky. :) Maybe this is Walmart’s way of getting people to buy their peanut butter? To do this and not say anything, but only do a couple from each batch? I know I’ve heard a lot of people claiming they’re going to go buy Wal-mart peanut butter so maybe it’s working? This thing just baffles me!! Thanks for writing back! :)
