Mile High Mamas at The Warwick
Throughout my glamorous life as a housewife and mother, I don’t find myself with a lot of opportunities to wear a cute dress and walk around with a wine glass in my hand, while discussing bloggy things with other social media mommies. This is why I love being a part of Mile High Mamas!
Last week, Mile High Mamas teamed up with Mom it Forward to support Office Max’s national initiative A Day Made Better to provide one million dollars in school supplies to teachers in need. The venue was the gorgeous outdoor patio at Randolph’s Restaurant and Bar at the amazing Warwick Hotel in downtown Denver. The Warwick generously provided wine and appetizers, and the evening was downright delightful. Complete recap with photos is right here. I can’t believe I missed out on jumping in the pool, fully clothed! Obviously I left just a few minutes too early!
I met many of these ladies last year, at the Mile High Mamas/Rocky Mountain Blogger’s Bash during the DNC. We kept mentioning how we really need to try to get together more often! And I was surprised to learn how many of them actually live on my side of town. I think I got talked into hosting an Eastside Bloggy Party at my house. Yay! Bring on the karaoke and live tweeting.
It’s rare for me to find myself among a whole group of chicks I can relate to, and these women are stellar. Mothers in Denver: Do you blog? Do you use your Twitter handle when introducing yourself to other moms on the playground? You need to be part of Mile High Mamas!
