This is what a $12 bottle of laundry detergent looks like:

This is what 110 loads of laundry detergent looks like after it runs all over your laundry room floor:
It may not seem like a lot in the pictures, but keep in mind that the floor UNDER my two washers and dryers is completely soaked in green goo, and in the furthest corner from where I can reach, it’s about half an inch deep.
Now. Will somebody remind me that shit tends to fall off the top of the washer during the spin cycle before I decide to set the laundry soap up there again?

Oh man that SUCKS! you totally crack me up though, girl. LOVE the title of this post.
When I was 8.5 months pregnant and nesting, I dropped a brand new bottle of fabric softener on the floor, and it just exploded. I was about to throw in a load of towels, so i mopped it up with the towels. Those were the softest towels EVER when they came out of the dryer! (not very absorbent though. heh.)

Oh. My. God. I would be SO pissed. Ugh.
I NEVER set anything on my washer!! LOL
Our laundry room floor is jacked and we have never been able to get the washer as level as it needs to be. So it does a jig with each wash.
The same thing happened to me, only it was with powder and I could just vacuum it up.
How in the hell do you clean up THAT much liquid soap??

I think I would sit right down in that mess and cry! My son once spilled 1/4 that on the kitchen floor. He was thankfully old enough to clean it up himself but it took a good hour!

Ooooh. That is something that would totally happen to me. In fact, though it hasn’t yet, I am pretty sure it will at some point. I just have that kind of luck!
Sorry love! That just plain sucks.

Sorry I haven’t called you, this is the first time I have had any time to get online and have yet another out of towner coming to our house tomorrow……

I so feel your pain. I’ve done that once or twice. I don’t even dare look behind our washing machine cuz I am sure there are a hundreds of things just piling up from their little spin cycle misshap.

OMG
I would have freaked the heck out!!! I do the same though and tend to put the damn detergent on top of the washer. It’s fell behind and I’ve had to make hubby get it but luckily it’s never spilled like that. holy effin soap, I can’t imagine how much it sucked to clean that crap up.

OMG! That so sucks. At least yours spilled on a tile floor though. When my son was two, he thought he’d help mommy by carrying a brand new jug of ERA to the laundry room after we got groceries one day. Only problem, he didn’t make it and ended up dropping the LIQUID soap all over the hallway CARPET. Talk about a pain to clean up.

Yeah that is uber crappy! Yikes! I’m sure that took like a hour to clean up. Laundry detergent stick and leaves a crazy residue. You poor thing!
