It’s Pizza Time!



Having fun pressing out the dough, originally uploaded by lalagirl.

We made Manda’s pizza recipe yesterday, and it was SO much fun. It was such an easy recipe, and the kids had a blast adding ingredients, watching the dough rise, and then pressing the dough out on the cookie sheets. And the pizza was BOMB. We made one with turkey pepperoni and one with just cheese, and both were excellent.

    Oh man, my mom makes her own pizza too and there is nothing like homemade pizza. Of course I don’t get it much now since she is in Florida and I am in Minnesota. Turkey pepperoni sounds different and good at the same time, we will have to try it.

    Amanda, it was super! We’ve made it once since then too, and made individual, tiny pizzas for everyone. So much fun! Thanks for passing that recipe along!

    Laurie, the turkey pepperoni tastes exactly the same, but it’s less greasy. It gets nice and crisp on the pizza!
