Clean Sweep, I need you!
You know what I hate? Having a basement full of crap. I can’t wait until we can have a MASSIVE garage sale. Some of the stuff we have, though, isn’t even garage sale worthy. Like the DVD/VCR combo we bought at Costco a couple of years ago which gave us so much trouble we had to get a new one. The stupid thing kept displaying dvd subtitles whenever we’d watch a movie. Isn’t that…bizarre? I always thought that was something you had to choose for each individual DVD, not some global setting. The thing froze up all the time, too, which was a very bad thing when the kids were littler and watched a whole lot of Baby Einstein. But, yeah. Why is that thing on a shelf in my basement? We aren’t going to sell it! Paul keeps saying he’s going to return it; I think he’s full of it. We have a BUNCH of stuff like that. Don’t tell my husband, but I’m considering throwing away a trash bag of this stuff every other week or so. I think a year or two could pass before he’d begin to miss anything!
