That’s the temperature outside right now - it was a perfect day for the kids to go on their November field trip to the natural history museum! We just got home, and everyone’s playing in the backyard. It’s supposed to drop 45 degrees and snow tomorrow, in typical Colorado fashion, so I thought we’d better skip the nap and play outside.
Mallory just hollered at me, “Mom! We’re playing in the leaves! Just like they do on Yo Gabba Gabba!” Obviously we need to play in the yard more.

She's happily married to an enginerd named Paul, loves living in Colorado, and writes almost daily about married life, raising multiples, and parenting a child with autism. In addition to playing Barbies and pretending to eat plastic food all day, Laura spends most of her time folding clean laundry, obsessing about the amount of sugar her kids eat, and vacuuming up Polly Pocket accessories. She's obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba, red wine, and Family Guy. She also regularly contributes to How Do You Do It? and authors the following blogs:

I’m in Colorado too…I’m bummed the weather is going to change so drastically. I have loved this November. Sure, there have been a few cold days, but mostly it’s been AWESOME!!!

Send some of that weather our way. It’s been drippy and overcast out here.

I love your kids and their observations of the world!
I was outside with Vincent, raking leaves yesterday. Today it’s damn cold. Freaking rocky mountain weather! LOL
