Pumpkin Patch
Pablo and Mallory are going on a fun field trip today! They’re going to a local pumpkin patch, and Mallory is SO excited. I think Pablo is, too – last night at bedtime, I told him he was going to ride the school bus today and go to the pumpkin patch and his eyes got kind of wide and he grinned – so maybe he remembers going there last fall. It’s chilly here today, but I think it’ll warm up by mid-morning, so hopefully they won’t freeze to death out there! So! This is going to be an interesting day with the girls. We’re going to be on our own until TWO today, when the kids return to the school. Usually we get P and M at 11:30, so we have lots of time today to do something. What should we do? I think we’re going to go buy new shoes, and then maybe we’ll go somewhere local (like, uh, Sam’s Club!) and buy a couple of pumpkins for them, so everybody has a pumpkin later on today. What else, though? We could do just about anything today, with all this TIME!

Oooh, Pumpkin patch. You know it is Fall when you make a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. That sounds like so much fun. I am horrible at carving pumpkins that is for sure.
You sure you want to go to Sam’s Club? They may draw something on your receipt for about 5 minutes.

We still need to get pumpkins too. I can’t believe that it is almost Halloween!
