Kayley’s been playing the Sims a lot, and she keeps coming in, asking me to find certain things for her game. She loves building and decorating houses more than playing the game, and she seems to get really annoyed when she can’t find just the right piece of furniture or just the right pattern of wallpaper or whatever. Who knows, I may have a future interior designer on my hands! She’s learning about space planning already! She was cracking me up, complaining about the “ugly, grandma-looking” furniture that comes standard with the game. I mean, not as if there aren’t DOZENS of choices, but she just isn’t happy with much of it. She’s been perusing some of the sites that have Sims downloads available, and she loves the office furniture and living room sets on a couple of the sites we’ve found. Too bad you have to PAY to download them! Maybe I can work out a deal with her: she folds the laundry, I dip into my Paypal. Hehe!
