I’m MOBILE!
Almost, anyway. Guess where I am? In my backyard! I just plucked Nikki down from the top of the big slide, WAY up over my head, where she was stuck. About stopped my heart, seeing her eight feet up over the ground! Anyway, I finally got my laptop back, and I’m trying it out today, just making sure our network plug in our outdoor kitchen is still working. And, yep! It is! My laptop’s plugged into the barbecue, and I’m in a chaise lounge, typing away. Although, working outdoors is a little overrated – there’s a ton of glare on my screen! Anyway, though, the reason I said I’m ALMOST mobile is that I still don’t have a wireless network card. ‘Cause then, I would be TRULY mobile. For now, I had to drag the patio table over close to the barbecue so my network cable would reach. Hehe! Oh well. Like I can bitch much about being out with the birds chirping and the kids zooming around in their cozy coupes. Yay for summer. Trying to soak it all in, before fall gets here. Seems like right around, oh, SEPTEMBER 1ST or so, it starts getting chilly here on a regular basis. I’m not ready for all that yet.

I just wanted to say that I am SO with you on the summer thing. I can listen to people bitch about it being hot all day, and in my head all I am thinking is how quickly this beautiful weather is going to be gone and we aren’t going to be able to go outside without freezing our butts off. I say YAY for summer! Bring it on!
