My ass hurts.
But that’s not what this post is about. It’s just in the back of my mind constantly, so I thought I’d throw it out there as a post title. Ha! Yay for sciatic nerve pain! Not!
The kids and I went garage sale-ing and had a great time! They were so good! I bought them all M&M’s, though, which helped tremendously. I hit probably half a dozen sales without finding ANYTHING. Most of the time, I didn’t even stop – I could see they didn’t have anything at all that I needed. But then! Finally, when I was about to give up! I found a huge, multi-family sale and I scored all kinds of stuff! I got a little car for the kids to drive around the backyard (which was the whole point of going out today! I got what I wanted! Woohoo!) and a neat little tricycle and a bunch of books and babies and stuffed animals and DVDs for just under $25. Yippee!
Now the kids are all in bed and I need to go jump in the shower so I can wash off the smell of everyone’s used crap. Ha! I always attack everything with the Clorox wipes as soon as we get home, but that “other people” smell seems to seep into my t-shirt and stuff. Princess, much?

you got my attention with the title. But seriously, you may want to consider either yoga or a chiropractor. I do the latter my wife does the first.
Thanks for the tip – I’ve seriously wanted to go see a chiro for a long time now. We just don’t have the extra money for it. Ugh! Our insurance doesn’t cover it, and when I went in the past, it was like $50 every session and I went a couple of times a week.
Maybe I should try the Yoga? I wonder if I could find “Yoga for Overweight, Overworked, Arthritic Mothers of Small Children” on DVD? Hehe!
No it’s not just you. Whenever I go to a secondhand shop or boot sale (car boot, like a garage sale but yet more white trashy) I feel like I just get permeated with that old lady slash baby slash attic smell.
I also have to sanitise everything the moment we’re home.
LalaGirl – what awesome finds! Victory always belongs to the woman who doesn’t give up, ha ha!
Great finds! I still think it’s weird that they have garage sales on Friday where you live.
