Goin’ Sailin’
Soooo…we figured out something to do today! I called RaeJean to see if she wanted to hang out, but she was already busy. So I went garage-saling with my kids. Woohoo! They were so good. I don’t know why they always do so well when we go garage-saling, but freak out just driving to Target. Makes no sense!! We drove around for hours, checked out half a dozen sales, had some McD’s cheeseburgers in the car, stopped at Grandma’s house to go peepee and have ice water and crackers (she wasn’t home) and got home in the late afternoon, in time to take a short nap. It was a nice afternoon.
And I spent around $20 and got a neat Big Bird talking doll thing for Pablo, a baby doll, two “bigger” dolls (similar to American Girl dolls), a couple of other dolls…two pairs of pants for Pablo, a couple of Bob the Builder pillow cases, and a little Barbie bakery thing for Kayley to play with her Bratz dolls with. (Don’t tell anyone she still plays with that stuff!!) I was pleased with everything I found! I always get so annoyed when I try to find sales, though. And I know I’ve blogged about this in the past, too. If you’re having a garage sale, don’t put all your info on an 8 1/2 x 11 sign and tape it to a pole. Drivers cannot see what your piddly-ass sign says until they’re three feet from it, and then it’s too late to turn! Just buy a packet of those fluorescent arrows, and tape them on the signs/poles at each turn. That’s all you need to do. We don’t need to know your address. We’ll find it, if you just put some arrows up that we can see!
Anyway. It sounds like Mister Pauly isn’t having his sale this weekend either. (Whew.) I think he’s doing it at his brother’s house (Yay!) next weekend. So I’m not sure what we’re going to do this weekend, but I’d be perfectly happy lying around and enjoying the sunshine. Maybe drinking a little wine outside by the firepit after the monkeys go to bed. Y’know? Can we just chill once in awhile?
Okay, speaking of monkeys, it’s time to herd them off to night night land. Nighty night!

The kids and I hit a couple sales this weekend too. We got an area rug, a bbq set and some life jackets. Very assortment of junk but it was a blast.

Do you mind spilling the beans on what plug-in you use for Wordpress that allows you to have imaes as your subjects on each post? I’d appreciate it a lot!!
