A milestone event.

Let me show you what we did yesterday that we have NEVER attempted before:

Do you know what you’re looking at, there? You can’t see them, but Nikki and Lexi are sitting in the racecar shopping cart. And Pablo and Mallory are WALKING. Yes. Both of them. Unrestrained. In a store! And it went…actually, just fine!! I was worried, but Pablo stayed right beside me almost the entire time, only wandering a few feet away whenever he saw the helium balloons attached to various displays all over the store for Thanksgiving.

This is a new phase in life, people. It’s time to say goodbye to pushing the quad stroller with one hand and pulling the shopping cart with the other. The kids are just too big for me to do that now, and my old body just can’t take it. I’m so excited to see that we can DO this and make it work! Woohoo!

OH I remember that day when mine walked in the store also. Each day life with twins gets a little easier.
