Good Bad Day.

Hi. How are you? I’m okay. We’ve had a pleasant day, pretty much. We dropped of Pabo at preschool and headed over to Burger King. By some miracle, NOBODY was there for the entire hour we played in the play area. There was only one older man drinking coffee and reading the paper there the whole time we were there, and he was only there about 10 minutes! It’s like we had our own private play area! The girls had a blast climbing in the tubes and coming down the slide. Thankfully, nobody got stuck, because I was worried about climbing up in there to perform a rescue operation!

After Burger King, we headed to Target to buy honeycrisp apples. My GAWD, have you had these? They’re the best apples EVER. And I can’t find them at our regular grocery store for some reason, only Wal-Mart and Target. Isn’t that bizarre? So yeah, $8 of apples later, I’m a happy chick. It started raining while we were inside Target, so that was a cold and wet trip back to the car! But, we didn’t melt.

We got home and everyone ate PB&J, cut up strawberries, and string cheese for lunch, and then everyone took a nap. I did some laundry, tagged nearly all my toys for the twin club kids’ stuff sale, and then gave all 4 kids a bath. I just got online now to learn that my friend Evie, who we made all the food for, had her surgery today and it sounds like she’s facing a little more trouble than she thought. Thinking about her and her husband and their kids and how much they all love one another and God and how hard the next few months will be – oh, man. It just makes me so sad. If you’re one of those praying types, please say a prayer for her and her family.

Now I’m going to fix some dinner for these monkeys and watch TV.
