Weekend update.

It totally feels like Sunday to me. Paul and Kayley both had Friday off for Veteran’s Day, and it really seems like it’s time to send them back to work and school! We’ve been getting a lot done this weekend, though. Yesterday was sort of a bust. We were completely tired all day because Paul went out with his boys Thursday night and didn’t get home until freakin’ FIVE IN THE MORNING! Can you believe that shit? I wasn’t mad or anything, but I have a really hard time falling asleep by myself, so I was up until about 2:30 myself. And then around 3:30, I had a crazy dream that involved me running around in the hallway. In my dream, Paul was telling me I needed to get up and get all the kids out of the house because the air wasn’t safe to breathe. Is that bizarre? I mean, he is a gassy little thing, but it’s usually not bad enough that we need to evacuate! Thank God I woke up and realized I was having a dream before I got to the kids’ rooms. That would have really annoyed me if I’d woken up the kids!! So I called Paul right then, half asleep, and asked him where the hell he was. Later, I found out he was at a, uh…gentleman’s club, and had some girl’s crotch in his face while we were on the phone. Ha!! Can you blame him for staying out late?? One of his buddies is having a baby with his wife on Wednesday, so I think this was sort of a last hurrah for him. So, ANYWAY. Friday we just sat around the house, and Paul napped for half the day. We did stay up late and carve pumpkins, a week or two late!! Kayley’s Spongebob pumpkin came out really cute. The little kids colored theirs with markers. And I ditched the idea of roasting seeds, since the inside of our big pumpkin had white mold growing in it! Bleck! Here are some pictures from the pumpkin craziness…

So today we actually got a lot more done. We cleaned up our front room in preparation for Thanksgiving, which is really coming up a lot faster than it should, and I sorted through ALL my kids’ toys. All of them. I brought every toy they own into the living room and sorted it all out. I filled a pretty large box with stuff to sell at the next twin club sale, and brought a whole bunch of toys up to the girls’ room since they didn’t actually have many toys upstairs. I rotated out all the toys in the playroom and put a fresh batch in there, and then put everything else in the basement. The kids got up from their naps while I was in the middle of all this, and they had a blast going through the toys with me!

Ack, it’s tomorrow already. I need to get to bed! Good night!

You are a good and patient wife! I would KILL my hubby if he went out like that! LOL

I have to agree, I get angry over porn, much less a gentlemen’s club! Pablo is concentrating hard on that pumpkin – that’s really cool. How do you know when a kid is left or right handed? Both of my twins tend to color with their left hands like Pablo is in that picture, but they are a little younger than Pablo & Mallory. Nice work on the pumpkins – sorry about the moldy seeds.

Man, I love that Spongebob pumpkin!!! Very cool.

And look! Kayley’s all boobalicious now! LOL! They grow up so darn fast.
