The Pumpkin Patch
Yesterday, Pablo went on a field trip to Berry Patch Farms with his preschool class. He had SUCH a super time. His teacher told me he loved walking around the place, and when it was time for everyone to pick out their very own pumpkin, he walked right up to the one he wanted and picked it up and wouldn’t put it down. So cute!! And when I picked him up from school yesterday, he brought his pumpkin over to me and said (and signed!) “Apple!” I wish Mallory could have gone, too. I know she would have loved it! Next year, I think my kids will all be big enough that we can all go as a family and walk around together without worrying too much about losing anyone.
I’ll have to take a picture of Pablo’s pumpkin. It’s very cute. About the size of a Nerf basketball. Hehe! Just his size.

Even at 40, I still love picking out my own pumpkin at a farm (when I don’t have a garden to grow my own). It’s the highlight of fall! Much better than picking through the bins at the grocery store. I asked Marcus if we could go get pumpkins this weekend.
