Feelin’ Fine.
I’m looking forward to having a relatively quiet weekend at home. We’ve had stuff going on every weekend for weeks now – our anniversary party, Colleen being in town, the twin club sale – and this weekend, we’re just going to do some “winter is a’ comin’!” cleaning around the yard and the house. We need to blow out the sprinkler system and shut it off pretty soon, and I’m sort of itching to go through the Halloween stuff and put some decorations up! It’s going to be October…uh, next weekend!!
While I was driving home the other day, I started thinking about my wedding scrapbook that I haven’t worked on since Christmas. For some reason, on that stretch of 225 between Mississippi and Colfax, I always end up deep in thought, then I find myself on I-70, going, “How the hell did I end up here? I hope I didn’t run over anyone on the way!” Do you ever zone out like that when you drive? ANYWAY. I was thinking about my wedding scrapbook that I burned myself out on. I can’t even work on it until I print up more pictures, because my mom snagged the big envelope of pictures I was using. I was just thinking that even though it would be a rather daunting task, I really should work on individual scrapbooks for my kids. Eventually, they’ll all be adults, and I’m sure they’re going to EACH want their own little memory album, not just “the twins” and “the other twins” like most of their stuff seems to be. I think this cold weather we’re having (it’s 38 degrees!!!) is making me want to sit home and be crafty!! It makes me want to paint my house, too. I’m hoping I can find a little of my long lost motivation in the coming weeks and months, and not go into winter depression mode!
Okay, time for lunch for four little monkeys I know. While they’re eating their lunch, I’m going to do a quick toy pickup so when they lie down for nappies, I can go upstairs and dye my hair again. The red sure didn’t stay long! Have a splendid Friday afternoon!

I totally zone out while driving from time to time. Mostly when I’m driving a route that I drive frequently.
Damn – 38 degrees already? And I thought our highs in the low 60s was getting chilly. LOL!

I KWYM about the scrapbooking…I’m going to work on some stuff this weekend. I’ve decided to say no to anything this weekend, except working on my scraproom and getting a few pages done.
