Shake and bake, baby!
Paul and I went out on our little date last night – it was so much fun! I mean, we didn’t do anything too crazy – we were both worn out from all the festivities of the week – but we always have fun together. I just adore that guy. So glad I had four of his babies and married him. Hehe!
We went to the new Chili’s that opened up right by us for dinner. I had a burger that was yummy; Pauly had fajitas that were “ehhh.” He is so damned picky about his Mexican food, though – I don’t know why he’d expect them to really flip his skirt up, y’know? It’s Chili’s, dude! But we did have a nice dinner. And hey, it was free! Well, the first $25 was, anyway!
Yay for gift cards!
Then we headed over to the new theater by us to try and catch a movie. The only movie starting relatively soon was Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. That was some funny shit, man. I’m sure you know how it went: I laughed through the entire movie. Paul smiled occasionally and laughed two or three times. He’s not quite a connoisseur of stupid comedies like I am. I’m crossing my fingers that the next movie we see is Jackass 2, and he really wants to see that new helicopter movie that I can’t even remember the name of. Weird to me how someone who’s so into poop and fart humor doesn’t appreciate stupid comedies more! Oh well.
Don’t I look like I’m having fun?

We got out of there and made it home by 11:30, so my parents actually made it home before midnight! Woohoo!
I can’t wait until our next date night, which should be around Halloween, based on our track record!!
