Yay for boring days!
It’s been a delightful day. Colleen and Kim and I went and saw Clerks II – LOVED IT. It was SO good! So cute and funny and almost chick-flicky, but still enough ass-to-mouth references that the guys would love it too. Awesome! Then we came back and walked through the model houses right by Colleen’s new house – I love doing that, and never get to. Now Kim is napping on the sofa and Colleen is going through photo albums, showing me her awesome 80s hair. Hee! I’ve decided a small dachschund might not be SUCH a terrible thing to have. I’ve also decided I need to immediately paint every room in my house that’s still builder white. We’re being lazy and it’s delightful. I think later, we’re going to go next door to Colleen’s mom’s house (it’s literally just a few feet from back door to back door) and try out her pool and hot tub.

I’m late (as usual) but I hope you had a blast and enjoyed your non-mommy time. What a treat for you!
