I love me some Christmas music. Truly, I do. I know I’m in the minority, and I know most people are annoyed to death by it, especially considering we haven’t even deep fried the turkey yet. But I generally LOVE Christmas music – it makes me so happy and nostalgic just hearing it – I always end up all warm and fuzzy. But. Ugh. I started listening to the radio station here that started playing Christmas music about a week ago, and isn’t going to stop until December 26th – and it’s like they searched the archives of hell for the freakin’ WORST Christmas music EVER! I was driving along today, trying to be festive, and I actually had to change the station to keep my head from exploding. I think it MAY have been the Pointer Sisters.
Time to make some Christmas CDs!

I know what you mean. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC was all excited when that same station started playing Christmas music last week. I had been checking since November 1st (which I think is when it started last year). I was trying to listen to that station at work the other morning to get into a festive mood and I couldn’t handle more than a couple of hours of it. They keep playing the same damned songs over and over, too. Their catalog of Christmas/Holiday music is HUGE and they have to start repeating in less than two hours? UGH! I came home and started up my iTunes Holiday mix to get those crap songs out of my head.
You should post a list of what you end up putting on your Christmas CDs. I’m curious as to what kind of music you would pick!

I’m the same way and our radio statio in the same here too. I’m actually going to start investing in my own Christmas collection – it’s totally worth it.
