I have, like, two minutes to write a post. Okay, ready, set, GO!
Our new Wal-Mart opened yesterday! Oh, happy day! It was crowded as HELL! I saw the Energizer Bunny and a weird robot shaped like a tube of toothpaste. (See Flickr.) I also got free gum, WM notepads, and a bunch of stickers. And they’re building WENDY’S in the parking lot. Mofo Wendy’s!! We already have a Wendy’s here, just a few blocks from there! Ugh! And no other fast food anywhere near here. Lame.
Kayley’s dog (at her dad’s house - some of you from back in the day might remember Brandon the Boxer) has advanced cancer. Kayley is devastated, even though he’s 12 1/2 years old and has had a long, happy life. It’s hard to lose an animal you’ve known your entire life!
I got K’s report card - all P’s for “Proficient.” Yay, Kayley!
I had four other twin mamas and all their kids over here today for a playdate. It was a lot of fun! Pictures here.
Pablo and Mallory started speech therapy yesterday. The lady was GREAT. Pablo and Mallory seemed to like her a lot. She mentioned that Pablo may have some sensory integration issues, which makes a lot of sense to me from what I’ve read about it. Every day, I see progress in my boy, though, and that makes me happy. Yesterday, while the therapist was here, she massaged Pablo’s arms pretty deeply. He really enjoyed it. Afterward, he picked up a pencil and “drew” a picture - something he has NEVER done before! Made me happy.
I started scrapbooking again! Yay! I did three pages last night in what is going to be our wedding album. I am seeing already that I need lots and lots more stuff. And so it begins.
For the past three nights, ALL FOUR KIDS HAVE BEEN IN BED BEFORE NINE. It’s changing my life, people.
Parent teacher conference tonight!

Sounds like things are going GREAT!!!
Sensory integration makes a world of difference to most kids! Helps them settle, focus, etc.
Sorry about Brandon.
